In honor of her mother who was suffering from severe lung disease, Donna Palmer has dedicated her time to volunteering and speaking out about the importance of lung disease and asthma awareness for The American Lung Association of Connecticut. In 2002 Donna lost her mom at the age of 59 to severe lung disease and emphysema, Donna was chosen the American Lung Association of Connecticut Asthma walk family chairperson in 2002 and continues to speak out in memory of her mother.
